- A 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine has a power of 115 hp at 6,300 pm. The maximum torque is 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm.
- A 1.5 liter CRDi VGT diesel engine has a power of 115 hp at 4,000 pm. The maximum torque is 250 Nm at 1,500-2,750 rpm.
The engines have six manual gearboxes, 7 DCT automatic gearboxes and six-speed automatic transmission.
Price
The price details have not been revealed, but it is expected to cost between Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Rivals
After the launch, the Kia Carens MPV will compete with Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
