Even though the price of the 1.5-litre variants is released, the manual transmission starts from Rs. 16.19 Lakhs, and the automatic transmission starts from Rs. 17.79 Lakhs (all costs ex-showroom India).

That is a great difference for a bigger engine since there is not much difference between the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI in exterior design, interior, and features.
