Exterior Design
First of all, the Audi A8 L has a long wheelbase of the Audi A8. But India receives only this variant; internationally, there are different versions, just like the standard A8, S8, and the A8 Security, the armoured version of the automobile.
Speaking specifically regarding the A8 L, the automobile appears to be more prominent after we compare it with the outgoing sedan. The front sees a brand new larger grille finished with more chrome. It is also flanked by a new set of light source units that offer illumination with HD Matrix LEDs in the Celebration trim and the new Digital Matrix LEDs in the Technology trim.
This new technicality, Audi says, provides higher illumination around corners and, at constant time, does not dazzle on new vehicles. It also gets entry and exit animations with great care to feel fashionable.
At the rear, the Audi A8 gets an all-new set of OLED lights with animations after the Dynamic drive starts. It also receives a proximity device that permits it to show on. At the side, you may spot a brand new set of 19-inch dual-tone alloys that return customary.

Interior and Features
The interior of the A8 L does not see much modification from the outgoing model. It has a constant 10.1-inch infotainment system and an 8.6-inch show for climate controls and seat functions.
What changes in the seating arrangement? The outgoing A8 L had four seats. However, now, the new Audi A8 L has 5-seat options. In addition, the Technology trim will still have a four-seater automobile that splits the rear cabin with two individual seats.
Now, since the intention is for this luxury car to be used as a chauffeur-driven automobile, rear passengers get-
- Two 10.1-inch displays
- Touch and haptic feedback
- Heated, cooled, and ventilated seats
- Level-2 ADAS technology
- 4-zone climate control
- Air ioniser, aromatisation
- 30-colour ambient light
- Top quality Valcona leather upholstery
- Heads-up display
- MMI navigation
- 360-degree camera
- Self-park functionality
Engine and Transmission
As mentioned earlier, the A8 L continues to be high-powered by the constant mild-hybrid 3-liter V6 turbo-petrol engine that was available in the previous sedan. This engine can manufacture 340 HP of most power and 500Nm of peak force.
An 8-speed torque converter automatic case handles transmission, causing energy to any or all four wheels of Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive technical school.
Audi claims that the A8 L will sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed restricted to 250 km/h. As for suspension, as customary, the A8 L will carry over constant air suspension from earlier.
However, the Technology trim will be optioned with air suspension. With this, the car’s laptop uses the front camera to browse the road ahead and permits the suspension to adapt, creating an electric drive. This allows the car’s ride height to be decreased or increased by 50 millimeters for better comfort.
Price
Like the previous A8 L, the 2022 luxury sedan is delivered to India via the fully settled (CBU) route. This suggests the automobile is quite expensive, with starting price of-
- Celebration- Rs 1.29 Crores
- Technology- Rs 1.57 Crores
Rivals
The Audi A8 L competes with Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the BMW 7 Series, and Lexus LS.
