Dimensions

The Land Rover has never supplied small SUVs. This trend will also continue with the 2022 Range Rover. It is supported by JLR’s new MLA-Flex design. It will be more than 5.0 meters long and will have 5.25 meters in the long-wheelbase version. Land Rover knew that driving a big SUV could be a pain. This is why they are providing standard rear-wheel steering. It is 2.20 meters wide and 1.87 meters tall. 

Exterior and Design

The exterior look of the iconic Land Rover has undergone some significant changes in its fifth generation. The front gets new grille graphics and a digital LED light source style with DRLs. They are controlled with the Pivi Pro infotainment device, which is placed inside the car.

The interior of the new Range Rover has undergone some significant changes to supply all stylish comfort. There is a 13.7-inch digital driver infotainment device. Engine

The new Range Rover has six and eight-cylinder power units. Specifically, there will be-

  • Three diesel (D250, D300, D350)
  • Three gas (P360, P400 and P530) and
  • Two plug-in hybrids P440e and P510e

Each diesel and gas engine has a 48 eV light-weight hybrid system. Each powertrain has an eight-speed Z.F. automatic gear case and two-speed transmission.  

  • The P360 has a 360 H.P. 3-litre 6-cylinder, which gives out 500 Nm of force. The P400 has a 3-litre engine which gives out 400 H.P. and 550 Nm of power. 
  • The P530 has a four.4-litre V8 engine with 530 H.P. of power and 750 Nm of peak force. 

The 3-litre diesel engines will give out-

  • 249 H.P. and 600 Nm of force in the D250,
  • 300 H.P. and 650 Nm in the D300 and 
  • 350 H.P. and 700 Nm in the D350.

Price 

The iconic Range Rover will be delivered next year, 2022. The price is still not revealed. The current Range Rover costs between Rs. 2.10 crore to Rs. 4.38 crore (ex-showroom). It is assumed that the upcoming fifth-generation model will cost more.

Rivals

After the launch, the Range Rover will compete with the 2022 Lexus LX, Bentley Bentayga, Rolls Royce Cullinan and Mercedes-Maybach GLS.
