The Indian government is also boosting the use of a digitized fine payment method for improved regulation and fines collected across India, called e-challan.

Step 1: Visit https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index/accused-challan  

Step 2: On the homepage, go to Check Online Services on the Menu Bar.

Step 3: Click on Check Delhi Traffic Challan.

Step 4: Fill in the details like Challan Number, Vehicle Number, and DL (Driving License) Number.

Step 5: Click on the Captcha followed by Get Details.

Step 6: If no challan is found against your vehicle, it will show a message noting identical. If e-challans against your car, it will be shown in the Challan Status row.

Remember that you have to complete the fine within sixty days of its issuance. If you fail to do so, the e-challan will be directly sent to court. The court may impose an extra fine or declare a jail sentence of up to three months or both.

Step 6: Complete all the payment details. You will receive a Successful Payment SMS on your registered mobile number.
